CAD Workshops

CAD Workshops

As part of our outreach in the community, we offer frequent workshops on getting started in CAD and developing skills in computer design. These primarily focus on Autodesk’s Fusion 360 as it is one of the most robust modern design programs and is extremely powerful as well as accessible to most students.

Workshops We Host:

Intro to Fusion 360

f360

This workshop is a brief, 1-2 hour introduction to the most important tools in Fusion. If you’ve never used Fusion, or even CAD more generally, before, this is the perfect introduction to the most useful tools and functions in the program. This is typically hosted in Fall Quarter as a way of introducing new students to the programs and workflows they will need for their future.
